Prayer

Prayer, both private and corporate, is part of a Christian Endeavourer's life.
Societies are encouraged to include Chain Prayer in their weekly devotional meeting.

As many members as are able offer short prayers in quick succession. Whilst newcomers may read a verse of a hymn or scripture or read a written prayer, as confidence builds up and the natural reserve about praying in public diminishes, members will begin to express their own thoughts in their prayers.

Either as part of a Society's chain prayer or an Endeavourer's private prayer, the following prayer ideas are offered for you to use over the coming weeks

CE members will pray for you. We will offer your needs to God at our meetings and in our Prayer Meeting. To add your prayer to our Prayer Points page please submit your prayer request to our Prayer Convener for inclusion.

All requests will be treated with strictest confidence and there is no need to give your full name or details unless you would like us to contact you.

All are welcome to use this facility.

Jesus taught his disciples to be bold in prayer – “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  (Luke 11 verse 9)  May we seek to know Him better so we can pray in accordance with His will.

PRAY FOR REVIVAL SIERRA LEONE UNION

MY NAME REV SORIE KAMANDA I WAS ONCE A NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF SIERRA LEONE CE.

DURING THE TEN YEARS WAR WE LOST CONTACT WITH OUR WORLD MEMBER AND THIS RESULTED TO THE UNION NOT FUNCTION. I AM PRESENTLY PASTORING A CHURCH IN FREETOWM.

I WOULD WANT THE BROTHERS AND SISTERS OUT HERE TO PRAY FOR THE REVIVAL OF THE GROUP IN SIERRA LEONE. WE USED TO HAVE LINK WITH THE USA CE BUT THEY HAVE CHANGE CE TO ANOTHER GROUP WE IN SIERRA LEONE ARE STILL INTRESTED TO START CE IN SIERRA LEONE AGAI.

PRAY THAT GOD WILL TOUCH THE HEARTS OF FRIENDS IN THE UK TO HELP US REVIVAL THE CE IN OUR COUNTRY.

WINTER PRAYERS

There will be a worldwide week of prayer for Christian Endeavour from 29th January to 4th February. Let us join our brothers and sisters across the world as we thank God for the many blessings He has showered upon us over the years since Francis Clark started the first society in the USA on February 2nd 1881.

Many Endeavourers over the years have become church leaders and been involved in varying Christian work, partly through the encouragement in their faith journey and the training provided by CE.
